Are you ready to drive cost-effective sourcing strategies while collaborating with global teams to shape the future of sensor technologies? Danfoss Sensing Solutions, a leader in advanced sensor technologies, is seeking a Sourcing Project Manager to join our Global Procurement team.
In this role, you will take end-to-end responsibility for strategic and risk mitigation projects, such as dual sourcing and localization, and work closely with Category Managers and Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, meeting quality and cost goals. You will be an integral part of a global team, with locations in Europe and Mexico, and contribute to driving sustainable innovation.
Job Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Identifying and implementing cost-down initiatives with suppliers to optimize procurement processes.
- Taking end-to-end responsibility for strategic and risk mitigation projects, such as dual sourcing, localization, and more.
- Leading procurement workstreams in NPD and NVC projects, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives.
- Collaborating closely with Category Managers and Project Managers to ensure projects meet quality and cost targets and are completed on time.
- Building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with internal stakeholders, including R&D, Engineering, and Product Management, to ensure alignment across teams.

The ideal candidate possesses the following skills:
- 5+ years of Procurement/Sourcing experience in a manufacturing industry.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, supply chain, or another relevant area.
- High proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- A team player with the courage to challenge the status quo and work efficiently with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A global mindset with excellent communication skills, enabling effective communication across all levels of the organization.
- 3-5 years of experience in Sourcing Projects (execution and implementation) using Milestones methodology for approval, including but not limited to: RFQ process (considering TCO), Supplier Benchmarking, PPAP process coordination, Pilot Run, customer requirements, phase-in/out, and Ramp-up follow-up.
