We are looking for a passionate Workplace Designer to join our Workplace Innovation Team in Danfoss Real Estate. In this position you will have an important role in creating attractive and high performing workplaces for our colleagues around the world.

 

The preferred location for this position is either our Headquarters in Nordborg, Denmark or our upcoming Campus in Kolding, Denmark.

Job Responsibilities

You will be part of a team of dedicated and experienced professionals – all striving to deliver great employee experiences to our colleagues around the world. You will be responsible for all the design-related activities that it takes to create an attractive workplace that drives performance and engagement.

 

With the “Danfoss Future Ways of Working” concept as your foundation, you will use your experience and expertise to challenge the status quo when having dialog with leadership teams about their aspirations for ways of working.

 

You will create functional layouts that meets these aspirations in a sustainable way, detailed designs that triggers curiosity and engagement. You will ensure that the execution lives up to the ambition, and you don’t let go of the project before you have verified it all works as intended. All of it will obviously happen in close collaboration with the project team you’ll be part of.

 

You will also be responsible for participating in our continuous development of Danfoss Future Ways of Working and related concepts and standards.

Background & Skills

As our new Workplace Designer, we expect that you are known for your open-mind and communicative approach. This enables you to perform strong stakeholder management by building relations and collaborate across cultures and geography. You can see things in a holistic way. And you know how creativity and innovation need to go hand in hand with business needs, to provide sustainable workplace solutions.

 

You are a strong team player with excellent collaboration skills. You have the ability to manage external design partners by setting clear direction. Moreover, you are a strong and structured facilitator of workshops and meetings.

 

  • You have a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Interior Design/Interior Architecture or another relevant background within interior design
  • You have minimum 4 years of experience in designing attractive and high preforming workplaces
  • You can show a proven track record on achievements related to innovation and development of attractive and high performing workplaces
  • Have extensive experience with design projects in a large multi-stakeholder organization
  • Have a solid understanding of ABW
  • Be experienced in AutoCAD or revit
  • Be familiar with pCon, SketchUp or similar 3D tools
  • It is a must that you are fluent in English, both orally and written
  • Have the desire and ability to travel
