Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Team Lead (m/f/d), Germany, as a functional leader for our Payroll Team Germany. In this role, your tasks will also include the analysis, standardization and automation of processes. You can be based in one of our Danfoss offices or you can work from Home-Office. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Play a key role on transforming the German Payroll team and be part of streamlining our system landscape, reorganizing our payroll set-up, and changing our HR delivery model.
  • Overall responsible for all end-to-end payroll and time related deliveries within your team.
  • Provide functional leadership by supporting the Payroll team with complex tasks and by focusing on employee development and well-being.
  • Analyze existing payroll processes to identify potential efficiencies and collaborate with Finance, IT and external vendors to implement standardized and automated solutions.
  • Ensure that our processes meet all legal and regulatory requirements. Assist with audits and compliance reviews.
  • Provide and analyze advanced payroll and time reports.
  • Assist in German payroll and time projects aimed at harmonizing processes and systems within EMEA.

Background & Skills

You hold a relevant bachelors o master’s degree or have already gained several years of experience in the payroll field.
You also have:

  • Proven experience in the analysis and optimization of processes, including the automation of workflows
  • Experience with ADP LOGA or similar payroll systems is a strong plus
  • Good knowledge of German and international payroll tax and social security laws
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail
  • Hands-on approach as well as team player mentality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in German and a very good command of English
