Job Description

We're seeking an Application Engineer to assist in optimizing equipment and methods to support laboratory management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the laboratory management within the areas of equipment & method optimization as well as necessary QEHS activities
  • Carry out  necessary equipment calibration & maintenance and give input to the calibration & maintenance plan
  • Maintain and develop technical competence within specific given relevant areas
  • Perform laboratory task within various project categories
  • Lab representative in NPD project groups
  • Perform project related tasks by measurement / evaluation & feedback with respect to results, method and equipment / tooling
  • Coordinate tasks with engineer colleagues and  /or delegate measurement tasks to lab technicians
  • Perform competences build up at own or other labs within own field of expertise

Background & Skills

  • Bachelor or master in Engineering or similar (Mechanical with Refrigeration specialization preferred)
  • Perform complex task solving including method specification, data acquisition and measuring technique  
  • Good understanding of laboratory equipment and laboratory method capabilities
  • Experience & Knowledge on HVAC products is preferred
  • High accuracy in work / data evaluation
