Job Description

As a constantly growing company, Danfoss is looking for motivated employees who want to work with us on our success. We are seeking an Analyst - Component Cost down who is responsible for Cost analysis for all mechanical components majorly Pressed parts, Die Casting, Sand Casting, Hot forging & Machined/bar turned parts.
 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  1. Perform Should Cost Analysis for all mechanical components majorly Pressed parts, Die Casting, Sand Casting, Hot forging & Machined/bar turned parts
  2. Drive Cost Research activities to bring the Should Cost models to highest level of accuracy by exploring and learning latest industry practices & technologies
  3. Perform Data Analytics using existing Procurement, Product & Cost related data, to identify outliers and opportunities

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering
  2. Minimum of 2-3 years working experience on Should Costing preferably from a manufacturing industry environment
  3. Strong knowledge on Manufacturing processes of Mechanical components
  4. Aware of global sourcing/procurement processes
  5. Good in 3D CAD modelling (Creo/Inventor/NX)
  6. Good in MS Excel/Power BI
  7. Exposure to aPriori or similar tool
  8. Interest towards Data Science/Applied Analytics
  9. Experienced in interdisciplinary and global working environment
  10. Strong team player
  11. Holistic mindset thinks One Danfoss
  12. Very strong analytical skills coupled with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  13. Ability to manage multiple complex projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results
  14. Must have worked in an organization/team or role where Cost saving as one of main KPI using Product Cost Management principles
  15. Self-starter with ability to learn quickly and work independently under minimum direction and supervision
