Job Description

Danfoss is looking for CAD Engineer - Product Engineering under third party role.

Job Responsibilities

Roles/Responsibilities: 

  • Preparing CAD 2D Drawings and 3D models as requested by Design Engineers. 

  • Collecting and compiling data for Material Declaration and communicating with consultants for proper documentation as per defined guideline/instruction. 

  • Perform SAP & PDM related activities as defined/planned by PDM Coordinator and Design Engineer. 

  • Preparing reports from Design documents and Test Results as defined by Design Engineer. 

Background & Skills

CAD Competencies: 

  • Proficient in usage of Autodesk Inventor 2022 for 3D Model and 2D Drawing preparation. 

Mechanical Design Competencies: 

  • Should have basic knowledge of Mechanical Design and Concepts. 
  • Knowledge of different Materials and their application. 
  • Knowledge of different part manufacturing processes (casting, forging, forming, etc.) 

SAP Competencies: 

  • Basic Knowledge of functions in SAP. 
  • Searching/revising/uploading documents. 

MS Office Competencies: 

  • Good knowledge on usage of Microsoft Office tools; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc. 
  • Should be able to prepare reports, extract data, prepare data; using these tools. 

Communication: 

  • Good Communication skills to share and update information with relevant stakeholders (Manager, Design Engineer, etc). 

Ideal candidate possesses: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics Engineering or similar with at least 4 years of technical experience.
