Contract Engineer - Design

Job Description

We are looking for a Contract Engineer - Design who will be responsible to create the conceptual drawings for innovative ideas, prototyping and production. The engineer should be aware of the product development cycle and play an active Team role in product development. The role further demands creation of BOM, drawing release, make test plans and product validation activities. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Development of innovative ideas based on market requirement that could be converted into a product
  • Assess tasks to move from concepts both on technology and as per the requirement to a salability product
  • Function in a team towards project execution from concept to production.
  • Hands – on design calculation. Make detailed Part drawing, and Assembly drawings, BOMS, design specification sheets and process improvements
  • Execution of Product Design verification and validations- Development of test procedures, necessary fixtures and testing
  • Knowledge of TS quality systems / audits / tools
  • Perform benchmarking activities, value Analysis and value Engineering 

Background & Skills

  • Knowledge of PDP processes Product quality standards - FMEA, DOE, etc
  • Sound engineering practices & following safety standards
  • Knowledge of ISO and TS standards for Drawings and International engineering practices and 2D /3D modeling
  • Should have knowledge in concept développent & should have experience in project management skills
