Deputy Manager - Sales

Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Engineer who is responsible for driving sales growth by actively engaging with both channel partners and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). This role is pivotal in developing and executing sales strategies that contribute to Danfoss’s market expansion and revenue goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Direct sales efforts towards both channel partners and OEMs, ensuring a balanced and strategic approach to market penetration.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with channel partners and OEMs, providing them with exceptional support and service.
• Collaborate with Lines of Business (LOBs) to align sales strategies with the broader objectives of Danfoss.
• Deliver technical and commercial support to channel partners, empowering them to effectively sell and promote Danfoss products.
• Utilize outstanding presentation skills to showcase product benefits and drive sales engagements.
• Address OEM inquiries promptly, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Perform regular sales reporting to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed.
• Efficiently manage customer data and interactions using Salesforce.
• Focus on increasing Danfoss’s SOW with OEMs through direct engagement and support to channel partners.
• Lead and execute seminars and roadshows to educate potential clients and generate interest in Danfoss solutions.
• Ensure a strong and consistent sales pipeline, reflective of ambitious sales targets.
• Work in tandem with organizational goals, promoting a cohesive and goal-oriented sales environment.

Background & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferable with added business administration
• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in Sales. 
• Ability to handle multiple accounts and maintain confidentiality
• Excellent Analytical, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to multi task, prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Self Driven, self motivated, focused and a team player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with    emphasis on superior Excel skills.
• Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts
• Ability to multitask and manage more than one client account
• Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
• In-depth understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry
