Job Description
We are looking for a design Engineer to support the engineering team and technical solutions for the existing and new product development projects
Job Responsibilities
- Support the engineering team and technical solutions for the existing and new product development projects
- Lead and execute the materialized projects according to Danfoss project development process (PDP) which involves DFMEA, Product safety & risk assessment, design for production /service, CAD Modelling, Drawing release etc,
- Proven expertise in Conceptualization, detail design, Design documentation, design calculations, CAD modelling, Prototyping, Verification and Validation of a completely new product development/sustaining projects.
- In-depth understanding of feature-based parametric modelling / assembly modelling, with hands-on experience using CAD packages (Pro E Creo, Windchill & AutoCAD etc)
- Hands on Experience and proven knowledge of handling PDM/PLM with SAP for Sheetmetal assemblies/system design dockets.
- Experience in Sheetmetal/ Copper tubes manufacturing processes like Fabrication, Punching, Bending & Welding, able to make the designs according to the manufacturing constraints.
Background & Skills
- Bachelor / master’s degree in engineering
- 4- 5 years of experience in a similar role/field with a product development focus and technical management background. (Refrigeration Systems - preferred)
- Proficient in Pro E Creo, Windchill, PDM ,SAP Application (Documentation/Change control)
- Should have basic knowledge in PLM & Autocad
