Danfoss is looking for an experienced, energetic, and proactive Salesforce Developer, a global role based in Chennai Campus, India.
In this position you can help us deliver world class Salesforce features. Together with your developer colleagues, you will help Danfoss achieve its greatest possible success with the Salesforce.com platform, by being a standard-bearer for best practices within Salesforce development and configuration.
Meanwhile you will be part of an agile global team, with full responsibility for the whole process chain, from feature design, development, testing and deployment, located in the international Digital Customer Experience team with more than 130 colleagues from all over the world, where we develop, support and lead the digital customer experience in Danfoss. We connect business needs and IT into digital solutions. 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

1. Using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products, services and technical processes in own area
2. Utilizing Salesforce development methodology and best practices for change management, development and testing
3. Working independently and being able to apply judgement in decision making
4. Solving complex problems; taking existing solutions in an innovative manner towards new problems without precedent

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

5+ years of experience on the Salesforce Platform

1. Salesforce Developer certifications
2. All around solid technical knowledge and proficient on the various point-and-click development tools offered by the platform
3. Strong Apex coding skills, but the mindset should be point-and-click first whenever possible
4. Proficiency with SOQL and SOSL
5. Experienced in integrating with external application using web services and REST API
6. Proficiency in using Lightning Web Components and leveraging HTML, JavaScript, and CSS to enhance usability
7. Good understanding of lead-to-cash process, with special focus on how Quotes are created and managed
8. Familiarity with Agile software development methodology
9. Proficiency in written and spoken English
10. Solid understanding of concepts and procedures in own discipline sound knowledge in adjoining disciplines
11. Strong communication and diplomacy skills and the ability to guide, influence and convince others
12. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
