What You’ll Be Doing
- Execute EMC validation testing using specialized equipment to evaluate product performance and compliance.
- Assess products against international EMC standards to support successful certification and market readiness.
- Analyze test results and recommend design improvements that reduce electromagnetic interference and enhance product reliability.
- Create clear test plans, compliance documentation, and validation reports that support development and certification activities.
- Maintain EMC laboratory quality and calibration practices to ensure accurate, repeatable, and reliable test outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- Experience performing EMI/EMC testing and validation for power electronics, power converters, or related systems.
- Strong understanding of conducted and radiated emissions, noise sources, and EMC mitigation techniques such as filtering, shielding, grounding, and choke selection.
- Hands-on experience with EMC test and measurement equipment, including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and LISNs.
- Ability to interpret and apply relevant EMC standards, including CISPR, IEC/EN 61000, IEC 61800, or equivalent frameworks.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across product development teams.
