As our Contract Engineer - Product Material Compliance, you'll play a key role in supporting accurate, timely, and reliable product material compliance information for customers and regulatory requirements.
Your impact? Customer requests will be handled efficiently, compliance data and documentation will remain accurate and current, and product teams will have better visibility of regulatory information for new and running products.
You'll collaborate with Product Line experts, Engineering, Procurement, Sourcing, Product teams, and ESG stakeholders, while taking ownership of compliance data workflows, documentation, and continuous improvement activities that support a more efficient and sustainable future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support customer requests related to product compliance requirements, including REACH, RoHS, SCIP, TSCA, Prop 65, PFAS, and ESG.
- Collect, validate, consolidate, upload, and maintain product compliance data using PIM / Stibo, SharePoint, and other internal systems for new and running products.
- Collaborate with Product Line experts and cross-functional stakeholders to close compliance data gaps and provide accurate, timely responses.
- Prepare and maintain SCIP dossiers, Full Material Declarations, IMDS and CDX submissions, material declarations, compliance statements, certificates, and customer questionnaires.
- Track customer requests in SharePoint workflows and contribute to compliance reporting, automation, digital process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline, with a basic understanding of product and material compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of REACH, RoHS, SCIP, TSCA, PFAS, or similar regulations; familiarity with FMD, IMDS, and CDX processes is desirable.
- Strong analytical and data-handling skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to PIM / Stibo, PLM systems, or SharePoint is preferred.
- Good communication, teamwork, and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Procurement, Sourcing, Product, and ESG teams.
- A self-driven, organized, and learning-oriented mindset; basic knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, Python, or similar automation tools is an advantage.
