Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Analyst role is to support the Product Line Controller for PL01 with data analysis, monitoring financial performance, and providing actionable insights on past performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret large datasets to support business decisions. Execute comprehensive analyses on revenue streams, expenditure patterns, and profit margins on both a routine monthly schedule and an ad hoc basis; identify potential areas for enhancement and recommend strategies for improvement
  • Perform detailed assessments of distribution costs; monitor changes in pricing structures; diligently track the progress of cost reduction initiatives and other efforts to optimize inventory levels
  • Oversee revenue accrual processes; evaluate the necessity for cost accruals; meticulously maintain records detailing all cost accrual activities
  • Conduct investigations and deep-dives on monthly closing findings, providing insights on impact over future performance as well as recommendations on necessary process improvements
  • Prepare monthly PL01 forecast, including variance analyses to budget and previous forecast.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual PL01 budget including SG&A budget and assist in cascading down and Sales, Cost and SG&A Targets 
  • Monitor and control SG&A expenses, ensuring they align with budgetary constraints
  • Support the Product Line Controller for PL01 in presenting data driven recommendations to Management to facilitate informed business decisions
  • Communicate findings from financial analysis to relevant stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner
  • Provide financial input  to project leaders in preparation of business cases(NPD and CAPEX)
  • Proactively monitor Inventories, Receivables and Payables providing recommendations to  improve the business cash position
  • Work closely with Factory Controllers and Finance Global Services and different functions on site to provide an accurate and stable picture of business state on site, understanding gaps and recommendations on improving results.

Background & Skills

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar. 
  • 6 to 9 Years of Experience in Finance Analysis and Reporting roles.
  • System proficiency in SAP, BW, HFM, Microsoft Office Pack including Power BI
