By maintaining and optimizing automated production test systems, you will help deliver products that meet the highest standards before they reach our customers.

Based at our Oragadam, Chennai manufacturing site, this is a hands-on opportunity to work at the intersection of electrical engineering, automation, and production excellence. You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to improve testing processes, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement.

Your work will directly contribute to product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction while supporting Danfoss' commitment to sustainable and innovative technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintain and optimize automated production test equipment to ensure reliable product testing and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and improve test systems and measuring instruments to maintain accuracy, compliance, and product quality.
• Support new product introductions by collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable smooth and efficient production launches.
• Update and enhance test software, hardware, and network configurations to improve system performance and testing effectiveness.
• Analyze test data and lead continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen quality, reduce waste, and improve manufacturing outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Experience maintaining or supporting electrical, electronic, or automated test systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of test automation platforms such as LabVIEW, TestStand, PLC-based systems, or similar industrial testing tools.
• Understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, variable frequency drives, motors, or industrial control equipment.
• Experience with calibration practices, measurement systems, and quality methodologies used in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to solve technical problems, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and support an on-site manufacturing operation, including shift-based work when required.
