Product Owner, PLM Backbone

Job Description

Danfoss Group IT is looking for a Product Owner, PLM Backbone to join our Global Team. We are on a journey of OnePLM and as our PLM Backbone Product Owner your scope will be PLM Backbone solutions with a direction focus towards Teamcenter UA.

Your responsibility is to maximize the products business value in everything you do by ensuring a clearly defined product vision, goals, good stakeholder management, excellent communication, budget and a well-managed product backlog. In this role you will serve as a liaison between different areas of the organization and therefore a combination of business understanding and a good grasp of the overall technology concepts is needed. You have a good knowledge of the products & it’s features which will enable you to take relevant dialogues with users, stakeholders, and the scrum teams.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

• Guide the product team in delivering business/value driven outcomes.
• Define product vision and effectively communicate it through use of visuals such as roadmaps, plans, architectural conceptualizations.
• Work with a product road maps for PLM Backbone Solutions
• Manage and prioritize the product backlogs 
• Communicate and promote
• Manage stakeholders and Capture requirements
• Collaborate closely with implementation teams 
• Drive adoption and increased utilization towards Teamcenter
• Budget and License management
All the above as joint effort with the stakeholders, teams and initiatives, which makes the demonstrated ability to collaborate a mandatory qualification.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with with minimum 10 years relevant experience.
• Strong business process knowledge related to PLM
• Good understanding of PLM from a technology point of view.
• Ability to collaborate, communicate and drive alignment in a global organization

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Certified Agile product owner or similar certification
• Previous Product owner/Product manager experience
