Job Description
Danfoss is looking for a resource who can Pre-Sales solution support to a team of Sales under Supply chain division of Drives
Job Responsibilities
- To support the sales team in Pre-order stage of RFQ
- Review of tender specification, scope of supply and services. Right product selection and sizing of components based on customer requirement and tender specifications
- Prepare technical offer & costing, data sheets and other customer required supporting document. Sign off on the technical proposal with customer
- Provide input to operation like scope of supply, shipping dimension and weight for estimation of packing and forwarding cost
- Create purchase specification for major bought out like trafo, Motor, PLC etc… and sign off with vendors on the offers. Laison with supply chain for bought out item cost
- Discuss with product management for non standard requirements for possible solutions
- Co-ordinate between sales, engineering, procurement & customer for winning the order
- Acknowledgement and commitment to sales on timeline for submission of offer. Maintain enquiry database and enquiry log
- Technical support to sales
- Up-to-date with products
Background & Skills
- Graduation in any Engineering
- 1 - 5 years of similar exposure towards LV Drives selection, sizing, Control panel design, Knowledge on Heavy industry applications, IEC Standards
- Having prior exposure towards Component Selection, Costing competency, Standards and statutory regulation, Operating in a Matrix, Drives knowledge
- Good communication
