Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Release Management Consultant to join our CRM team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient deployment of Salesforce components across various environments using the Copado platform. This role requires strong technical expertise in Salesforce release management, coupled with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Manage the end-to-end release management process for Salesforce applications, ensuring timely and error-free deployments from lower environments to higher environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to coordinate release schedules and dependencies.
• Configure and optimize the Copado platform to automate release processes and improve efficiency.
• Conduct impact assessments and risk analysis for each release, identifying potential conflicts or issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Monitor release progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to project stakeholders and leadership.
• Develop and maintain release documentation, including release notes, deployment plans, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members on release management best practices and Copado usage.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Salesforce release management, including hands-on experience with the Copado platform.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce development lifecycle, including sandboxes, version control, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and data migration tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution.
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, and Copado Administrator are preferred but not mandatory
