Cybersecurity incidents can significantly impact business operations, customers, and reputation. As Senior Professional, Security Incident Manager, you will lead the response to critical cybersecurity incidents, bringing together technical experts and business stakeholders to contain threats, reduce risk, and restore services.
You will serve as a trusted leader in high-pressure situations, driving effective decision-making, clear stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement to strengthen Danfoss’ cyber resilience and incident response capabilities.
Through your leadership, you will help ensure business continuity, improve organizational resilience, and advance the maturity of our global Security Operations function.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the coordination and resolution of major cybersecurity incidents to minimize business impact and accelerate recovery.
- Drive collaboration across Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, and Business teams to ensure an effective and aligned response during critical incidents.
- Provide timely stakeholder communication, executive updates, risk assessments, and business impact visibility throughout the incident lifecycle.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and incident response partners, to support rapid decision-making and incident resolution.
- Facilitate post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and lessons learned activities that strengthen resilience and reduce future risk.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing high-severity cybersecurity incidents in a Security Operations Center, Incident Response, or Major Incident Management environment.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity incident response, cyber crisis management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices.
- Hands-on knowledge of security technologies such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, identity security, cloud security, network security, and IT service management platforms.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage technical teams, business leaders, vendors, and external partners during time-critical situations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions during complex incidents.
