Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a Senior Consultant - BODS to join our diverse team. You bring deep analytical skills and can communicate effectively with stakeholders.you will have broad business knowledge, a deep technical knowledge as well as an understanding of how technology supports the business value generation.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Build SAP BODS jobs for Data Migration/Data Integration projects, as per the requirements shared by functional team.
• Develop/Update technical design documents (TDD).
• Build reports and dashboards in PBI to display the output/end results from BODS jobs.
• Perform unit testing to ensure all the requirements shared are implemented correctly.
• Update Logbooks as and when changes are made in BODS jobs.
• Follow framework and process while building jobs, version maintenance and code movements.
• Take complete ownership of data objects assigned.
• Execute data rehearsals (mock cycles) end to end for the data objects assigned.
• Fix defects and update incidents on a regular basis.
• Attend regular calls within the team and across teams (during Mock Cycles).
• Support other team members when asked for and during their absence.
• Support production hyper care to resolve any issues/incident arising.

Background & Skills

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Master’s Degree /UG degree in Engineering with E2E business process knowledge. 
2. 6+ years of experience in SAP Data Cleansing & Migration – at least in SAP module
3. Extended knowledge & experience working on multiple SAP-ERP Projects (preferable at least 1 on SAP 4/HANA)
4. Experience working in global projects.
5. Willing to travel abroad for training and projects.
6. Good oral and written communication and presentation skills
7. Ability and flexibility to work in a virtual environment across multiple time zones.
8. Flexibility to work non-standard hours in supporting global systems.

Technical Skills:

1. Good Experience on SAP Data migration strategy to migrate from ECC/Non-SAP to SAP S4 HANA as using SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS 4.2)
2. Strong Data Migration background
3. Work experience on various transformations like Map Operation, Table Comparison, Row-Generation, History Preserving, Query and SQL transformation.
4. Should Possess very good SQL experience.
5. Working experience in loading data through IDOCs, Files, RFC and LSMW.
6. Experience in performance tuning and code optimization
7. Experience in integration with different system like SAP Applications, HANA, and RDBMS source systems
8. Ability to understand cross functional data.
9. Ensure deliverables are prepared in good quality and on time.
10.Need to be proactive in highlighting the issues / risks.
11.Knowledge in SOLMAN/Charm Process and Power BI or LTMC is an added advantage.
12.Experience in BODS scripting and Batch scripting.
13.Resolves integration issues, supports ad hoc data uploads, and implements change requests.
