Job Description
Danfoss is looking for a Senior Engineer Operations in supply chain department. The Senior Engineer - Operations will be responsible for Manufacturing processes and driving operational excellence while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage daily shopfloor activities for efficiency and quality.
- Drive team engagement and foster positive work culture.
- Maintain records of turnover, production, attendance, and discipline.
- Promote a zero-unsafe-condition culture.
- Enforce safe work practices and address safety risks promptly.
- Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance.
- Adhere to quality management systems (ISO9001, IATF 16949, ISO14001).
- Use core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
- Address quality deviations effectively and perform root cause analysis.
- Continuously improve product delivery systems to meet customer expectations.
- Participate in Value Stream Mapping (VSM) for lean initiatives.
- Lead Kaizen action plans with shopfloor associates.
- Promote continuous improvement and zero-defect mindset.
- Apply problem-solving techniques (5 Whys, 8D, 4-Step Problem Solving).
- Manage safety, quality, and production during shifts.
- Analyze and report shift-based challenges promptly.
- Drive smart manufacturing and digitalization on the shopfloor.
- Collaborate on factory CAPEX roadmap for machine OEE, productivity, and automation improvement

Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or related fields).
Experience
- 10+ years in manufacturing operations in industries such as Automotive, EMS, or Medical Device Manufacturing.
- Practical, results-driven experience in at least two domains: Quality, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proven experience with core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
- Hands-on experience maintaining IATF 16949 quality standards.
- Demonstrated results in driving Kaizen and continuous improvement activities on the shopfloor.
- Experience managing shift operations and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (VSM, 5 Whys, 8D, other problem-solving techniques).
- Quality-first mindset with a passion for process improvements and zero-defect delivery.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Additional Qualifications (Advantage)
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or above).
- Experience with automation and shopfloor digitalization.
- Familiarity with smart manufacturing practices and factory automation initiatives.
