Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Performance Consultant for its Digital Commerce Development department.
You shall have commitment to continuous improvements, prior performance engineering experience and are able to work in a complex IT landscape. You are confident enough to propose performance improving solutions. You will own and become subject matter expert of Digital Commerce performance and will be the key contact person for this area.
You will be a part of the international Digital Customer Experience (DCE) team with more than 100 colleagues from all over the world, where we develop, support and lead the digital customer experience in Danfoss.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Solution performance testing, results analysis and reporting as a preparation for production deployment (weekly)
• Continuous improvement in eCommerce performance, reliability, and resiliency
• Continuous monitoring of eCommerce front-end and back-end performance to understand and address underperforming components.
• Proactively tracking the state of the application’s performance (like average response times, page impressions/second and maximum number of concurrent users), and then create a visual analysis to present them to the team.
• Further development and enhancement of custom-built performance testing framework
• Collecting and estimating volumetric information and then leading or providing consultative expertise for the corrective actions to development team
• Identifying performance issues and bringing forward improvement recommendations that can be implemented.
• Evaluating and providing performance matrix to internal and third-party integrations

 You will also:

• Continuously map opportunities for incremental improvements to frontend performance
• Prepare and deliver KPI reports
• Communicate performance status, improvements over time, ongoing activities, success stories incl. definition of measurable performance targets (KPIs and plans)   
• Analyze Google Analytics 360 reports and crystalize results
• Secure development and release process include the performance testing, review and required quality
• Lead the performance aspect in new POC’s and all our projects that interact with our commerce solutions and API’s

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

• 5 + years of relevant work experience, preferable in big B2B companies
• Strong performance testing grounding with experience developing and implementing performance test strategies
• Expertise in performance test tools (Jmeter, K6)
• Experience in monitoring tools (Dynatrace), log monitoring (Kibana, Grafana)
• Experience with implementation and working with CI/CD pipelines and tools/integrations (Azure DevOps)
• Understanding of Database and web technology performance and optimization (E.g. MS SQL Server, Tomcat etc)
 
You also have

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and queueing services
• Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure and technology
• Experience in eCommerce domain would be an advantage
• Experience in SAP Commerce Cloud and SAP Customer Experience ecosystem would be an advantage.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English
