Job Description

Danfoss is looking for an energetic, collaborative, and results-driven Procurement Data Analyst to join our Drives Procurement organization. This role will be part of the Cost Analysis Center (CAC), supporting Strategic Procurement in data mining, data analytics, managing RFQs, handling Letters of Authorization (LOAs), supplier costs. The ideal candidate will work closely with global category managers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to optimize procurement efficiency and drive cost-down initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support data mining for RFQs (Request for Quotations) to support supplier negotiations.
  • Manage, distribute, and analyze Letters of Authorization (LOAs) for supplier agreements.
  • Implement agreed price changes in the ERP system (SAP) and ensure accurate cost tracking.
  •  Act as a super user for procurement tools and Power BI dashboards, ensuring high-quality data insights.
  •  Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.
  •  Provide ad hoc reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making

 

 

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Bachelor’s degree (Electronics, Electrical) or a Master’s in Business/Supply Chain.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in data analytics, procurement and supplier collaboration.
  • Preferred industry experience: Electronics, power electronics, clean energy, industrial automation, or related fields.
  • Experience working in high-change, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical skills to work with complex data, procurement reports.
  • Deep expertise in procurement methodologies, supplier collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Macro, VBA, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI for data-driven decision-making, Dashboard creation for data visuals on a high level.
  • Knowledge of SAP MM Module & PLM Teamcenter for procurement and product lifecycle management.
  • Process standardization & documentation skills to drive efficiency.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with experience in 5S, Lean, Six Sigma or Agile methodologies (preferred).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management—confidently voice opinions, foster transparent dialogue, and collaborate across teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving approachability to take initiative and drive results independently.
  • Experience in global, cross-functional environments with the ability to work in a matrix organization.
