As our new Transportation Supervisor, you will lead a team of professionals and ensure that materials and products move safely, efficiently, and on time across our transportation network.
Your impact? Your leadership will directly contribute to reliable customer deliveries, continuity of production, freight cost control, carrier performance, and greater visibility throughout the supply chain.
You’ll collaborate with functions and take ownership of responsibilities, helping us move toward a more efficient future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a team of four transportation professionals, setting priorities, guiding daily decisions, giving feedback, and promoting accountability and collaboration.
- Manage local distribution for Osasco and Embu, ensuring reliable, efficient deliveries while balancing service, cost, capacity, and operational needs.
- Coordinate inbound transport for imported materials from ports and airports to plants, closely tracking critical shipments.
- Manage freight costs and partners, including payment approvals, cost validation, spot quotes, negotiations, capacity, and issue resolution.
- Own local TMS processes, ensuring accurate data, shipment visibility, daily follow-up, user support, compliance, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in transportation or logistics operations, including domestic distribution and the coordination of inbound freight or imported materials.
- People leadership experience, with the ability to set priorities, develop employees, manage performance, and lead effectively in a dynamic operational environment.
- Experience with freight management, including carrier performance, freight cost control, payment or invoice approval, spot quotations, and operational negotiations.
- Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems and data analysis tools, with the ability to monitor shipments, analyze KPIs, identify trends, and translate data into action.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with professional proficiency in Portuguese and the ability to communicate in English in a global business environment.
