Join Danfoss Power Solutions and help shape the future of automation in our global Test Labs. Your work will support the modernization and standardization of test stand technologies used across multiple locations, enabling reliable, repeatable, and high-quality testing that drives innovation for our customers. In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues across Slovakia, Germany, the USA, and China to develop and implement next-generation automation solutions. You will play an important part in advancing our transition to Siemens-based automation platforms, improving performance, cybersecurity, and operational efficiency on a global scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design, implement, and optimize automation and control systems that support standardized testing processes across global locations.
  • Program and develop Siemens PLC applications and HMI solutions using TIA Portal to enhance test stand functionality, reliability, and user experience.
  • Lead modernization initiatives for test stand automation platforms, improving system performance, maintainability, and cybersecurity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation, control, and data acquisition issues through effective root cause analysis and technical problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams to define requirements, deploy automation solutions, and deliver measurable business impact.

What We're Looking For

  • Hands-on experience with Siemens PLC programming, including Step 7 and TIA Portal, and the ability to develop and modify automation software independently.
  • Proven programming experience in industrial automation and control systems, including PLC and HMI development.
  • Knowledge of WinCC, drive technologies, electrical control systems, and industrial communication interfaces.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagnose technical issues within automated equipment.
  • Strong English communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
