Job Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of 18 payroll professionals (including 1 team lead), fostering their development and well-being while embodying our company values.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end payroll process, including timekeeping and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Drive the optimization of our payroll processes, leveraging our ServiceNow ticketing system and other technologies to enhance service delivery and user experience.
- Collaborate effectively with Finance, IT, and external service providers to ensure seamless integration and alignment of payroll processes.
- Manage audits and compliance checks, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and internal policies.
Background & Skills
- Extensive experience in German payroll and benefits administration, coupled with proven leadership experience managing a larger, virtual team.
- Hands-on experience with Inhouse payroll, ideally experienced with SAP SuccessFactors for HR processes and ADP as payroll system. Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system for HR/Payroll requests.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects related to payroll processes and systems, with a track record of optimizing and digitizing processes.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to navigate a complex environment and lead with both strength and empathy.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to interact confidently at all organizational levels.
