Job Description
Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking Procurement Assistant who will support to the purchasing manager such as purchase order management, order entry, price checking, order clearing, compliance, complaint handling, coordination with suppliers on delivery and billing. Responsible for interfacing with suppliers for deliveries, carriers for logistics and manufacturing to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales functions. Provide support to customer service team in areas such as costs, lead times, order status management, delivery, shipping, logistics and documents preparation.
Job Responsibilities
- Raise purchase orders for external suppliers in order to support the System Business for the EMEA market.
- Monitor deliveries, expediting as applicable
- Be the point of reference for suppliers for all types of requests: lead times, logistics, order status
- Deal with different carriers to arrange the pick-up and delivery from suppliers to our locations, if required
- Be the reference person for supplier’s issues related to lead times, shipments, quality
- Customer oriented skills and ability to create strong relationships
- Assist in sales increase admin by liaising with suppliers for prices related topics
- Arrange new supplier set ups
- Arrange new Part Number set ups
- Willingness to learn our business processes and system’s related tools
- Maintain accurate information in ERP systems (Supplier’s order book review, clean up etc)
- Fosters an environment which promotes Danfoss’s goals and philosophy and encourages continuous improvement
Background & Skills
- High School or Bachelor’s degree
- English knowledge in speaking, reading and writing
- Customer focused mindset
- Organization and time management skills
- Team-oriented problem solving skills and corrective action methodology
- Proficient in creative problem solving, conflict resolution, and managing priorities
- 4-5 years of professional experience in order and export management would be considered a plus
