In this role, you will work with colleagues in Slovakia, Germany, the USA, and China to develop automation solutions that deliver reliable, repeatable, and high-quality test results.
As an Automation Engineer, you will contribute to the development of next-generation control systems, supporting the migration to Siemens-based automation platforms and driving continuous improvements in performance, functionality, and cybersecurity. Your work will directly support our ability to innovate and deliver world-class solutions to our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and enhance Siemens PLC and HMI control systems to improve test stand performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Implement global automation standards and support the migration to Siemens-based technologies, enabling consistent testing processes across locations.
- Lead automation modernization projects, ensuring systems remain secure, efficient, and aligned with evolving business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues, performing root cause analysis and supporting global operations both on-site and remotely.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple regions to define, document, and deploy automation solutions that deliver measurable business value.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with Siemens Step 7 / TIA Portal and industrial automation systems.
- Knowledge of WinCC, drive technologies, and electrical control systems.
- Understanding of measurement technology, signal conditioning, and data acquisition systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagnose technical issues in automation equipment.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively within global, cross-functional teams.
