Job Description
Danfoss is seeking for an experienced Facility Manager to join our diverse team.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Scheduling and supervising mandatory permits, checks and inspections of buildings, equipment and installations, fire safety
- Planning, budgeting, negotiating, organizing and supervision of capex projects. Liasing with internal and external stakeholders, cooperation with Real Estate Focus Team on technical solutions, and design standards
- Supervision and coordination of building, office and production area cleaning, landscaping, gardening, snow removal, external cleaning, pest control (by external provider)
- Planning, budgeting, negotiating, organizing and supervision of maintenance, repair works
- Supervision and coordination of suppliers of canteen and catering services, vending machines, drink dispensers
- Supervision and coordination of suppliers of security services
- Negotiating with media suppliers, evaluating media consumption, media billing control, introduction and use of energy monitoring system
- Preparation of documents for internal and external safety audit
- Cooperation with local authorities on permits, etc.
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or certificate within Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil)
- 10+ years’ experience in similar position
- Experience in facility management and related capex projects in industrial/manufacturing real estate. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and international environment.
- Slovak or Czech – native
- Written and spoken English – C1
- Negotiation skills
- Presentation and communication skills
- AutoCad - ability to read/open dwg files, ability to introduce basic changes
- SAP - basic knowledge
- Microsoft Office 365 - ability to work on and create/modify MS Word, Excel, Power Point files
