Job Description:
The Impact You'll Make
You will help bring the next generation of mobile hydraulics to life. Through structural simulation and CAE, your work will directly shape how hydrostatic pumps, motors, and assemblies perform in the real world.
By turning complex loads and boundary conditions into clear engineering insight, you will influence design decisions, durability, and reliability—helping our customers build machines that push, lift, and transport more efficiently.
You’ll be part of a global simulation community, while working locally in Povazska Bystrica, Slovakia on development and technology projects that matter to Danfoss and the industries we serve.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Run structural and fatigue simulations to predict strength, lifetime, and risk—and turn results into clear design recommendations.
- Build and validate digital models that reflect real operating conditions at component and assembly level.
- Support design development and troubleshooting by identifying root causes and improvement opportunities early.
- Collaborate across disciplines with design, testing, materials, and simulation colleagues in an international setup.
- Continuously grow your simulation expertise while contributing to problem-solving and development projects.
What We're Looking For
- Technical university degree in mechanical engineering, applied mechanics, applied mathematics, or a related field.
- Interest or initial experience in structural mechanics and CAE/FEA, gained through studies, projects, or early career roles.
- Industry experience using CAE tools on structural simulations is preferred.
- Structured, analytical mindset with the ability to explain conclusions clearly and practically.
- English at B2 level to collaborate in a global engineering environment.
- Curious, open, and collaborative approach with motivation to learn and develop.
