The Impact You'll Make
As a Sourcing Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving procurement excellence, delivering sustainable cost improvements, and supporting the success of Danfoss Power Solutions. Your work will directly influence business performance by identifying opportunities, leading sourcing initiatives, and creating measurable value.
Based in Považská Bystrica, Slovakia, and working in a hybrid environment, you will collaborate with a global procurement team and cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Supplier Networks. This role includes approximately 20% international travel, providing opportunities to build relationships with colleagues and suppliers across our global organization.
You will join an international team and lead projects that strengthen supplier partnerships, optimize costs, and support innovative products from concept to implementation. This role offers strong exposure to global sourcing strategies, project leadership, and stakeholder management.
What You’ll Be Doing

Lead sourcing projects from planning through implementation to deliver cost savings, quality improvements, and successful business outcomes.

Identify and develop cost-reduction opportunities by leveraging supplier expertise, market insights, and strategic sourcing approaches.

Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing decisions align with quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Manage project timelines, risks, budgets, and stakeholder communication to keep initiatives on track and achieve expected results.

Build strong supplier relationships and drive collaboration that supports long-term value creation and sustainable procurement performance.
What We're Looking For

Experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or project management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.

Practical knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cost optimization.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence presenting to suppliers and business leaders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP ERP, and data analysis tools to support informed decision-making.
