Job Responsibilities
As our new Systems Engineer, you will :
- Perform computer-based modelling (MatLab/Simulink) of systems, subsystems, and components (hydraulic and electrical)
- Define and develop the most suited / appropriate control strategy and system architecture
- Apply component behaviour knowledge (e.g. pumps, valves,) when designing a system
- Perform proof of concept test together with our high skilled test engineers
- Analyse solution concepts from a safety, cost, and efficiency perspective
- Develop project value propositions and document engineering results in white papers, engineering reports, trade magazine articles, and conference papers
- Establish and maintain strong links to other Danfoss Power Solutions groups locally and globally
- Stay up-to-date regarding your field of engineering and technology related to Danfoss
Background & Skills
To be considered for this role, you:
- hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering as a minimum
- you have working knowledge of hydraulic and/or electrical systems
- have some experience in developing, simulating and validating hydraulic or electrical systems
- are a strong trouble-shooter and are able to organise and prioritise your work to complete assignments/tasks on time
- have the ability to apply creative approaches and ideas to solve problems, maximising the effective use of appropriate resources.
On a more personal note you:
- are action and goal-oriented, flexible, objective, highly self-motivated and act with a high sense of urgency
- are an excellent communicator in English and Slovak (verbally and in writing), with an interest in working across organisational lines.
