Job Description

As HR Generalist you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations and will be responsible for managing HR functions such as employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.


Your main responsibilities will be tied to the two Danfoss entities in the Czech Republic (Pilsen region and Prague), however you will also act as HR advisor for managers in multiple countries.
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits offerings.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Assist with employee relations by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labour laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in performance management processes, including performance reviews and employee development initiatives.
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives within the company.
     

Background & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a human resources role.
  • Driver's license, flexibility to travel between 2 offices (main place of work Kostelec, Ostrov u Stříbra, Pilsen region and occasionally visiting Prague 4 office).
  • Basic knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
