The Impact You'll Make
As our Sales Engineer, you'll play a key role in expanding Danfoss' presence across Prague and Western Bohemia by helping customers create more energy-efficient, reliable, and sustainable HVAC solutions.
Your impact? By combining technical expertise with a consultative sales approach, you'll build long-term customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and support projects from the early design phase through to successful implementation.
You'll work closely with installers, consultants, contractors, wholesalers, and investors, as well as with our internal technical and product teams, helping customers find the right solutions while contributing to Danfoss' continued growth in your region.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities across Prague and Western Bohemia.
- Provide technical and commercial support by preparing quotations, basic calculations, and solution proposals tailored to customer requirements.
- Build and manage project opportunities by working closely with consultants, contractors, wholesalers, and other business partners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Deliver product presentations, technical training, and application support, helping customers select the right Danfoss solutions.
- Work from our Prague office while traveling regularly across your region and collaborating with Product Management, Technical Support, and Sales colleagues to ensure an excellent customer experience and drive business growth.

We're looking for someone with:
- At least 3 years of experience in technical sales, project sales, or business development, preferably within HVAC, construction, or building technologies.
- Good knowledge of the Czech construction and HVAC market, ideally with an established network of customers and business partners in Prague and Western Bohemia.
- Technical background or strong interest in engineering solutions (a degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Building Services, or a related field is an advantage).
- Fluent Czech and good English communication skills, with excellent relationship-building and customer communication abilities.
- A proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented approach, along with a valid Category B driving license and willingness to travel frequently within the region.
