At our Castel San Pietro (Bo) plant, Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a Process Engineer Internship to support our process engineering and maintenance team in analyzing, improving, and optimizing production processes, contributing to the development of technical and organizational solutions aimed at efficiency, safety and quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Analysis of existing production processes: data collection, shop-floor observations, process flow mapping.
- Support for continuous improvement activities: application of Lean methodologies, 5S, waste reduction.
- Preparation of technical reports: production and maintenance KPIs (FPY, MTBF, MTTR).
- Collaboration with production, safety and quality departments: management of non-conformities, root cause analysis.
- Participation in industrialization projects: new product introduction, definition of process cycles and work instructions.
- Updating technical documentation: operating and process procedures.
What We're Looking For

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Management Engineering, or equivalent – courses related to management and/or lean are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, essential for data management and creating effective reports.
- Problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a teamStrong command of both written and spoken Italian and English.
- Good understanding of technical drawings and familiarity with CAD software (preferred).
