Job Category:  Sales
Work Location Type:  On-site

The Impact You'll Make

As our Product Application Engineer, you will serve as the technical liason between Sales, Product Manager, Engineering and our Danfoss Hansen customers.  You own the Hansen product family from an application standpoint, remove technical barriers to revenue, and translate field intelligence into actionable input for future product roadmaps.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the go‑to Hansen expert for sales teams, channel partners, and end users—providing pre‑ and post‑sales support, product selection guidance, system‑level troubleshooting, and start‑up assistance
  • Drive new business opportunities by delivering smarter, energy‑efficient solutions that strengthen Hansen product sales
  • Meet with customers on‑site to assess application requirements, identify product solutions or gaps, and respond quickly to technical and product‑related inquiries
  • Translate customer needs into existing Hansen product configurations or collaborate with Engineering on tailored designs; develop BOMs, cost estimates, and competitive pricing
  • Create and deliver customer presentations that clearly communicate Danfoss solutions and support ongoing business development efforts
  • Capture customer pain points, competitive insights, and winning features to inform Product Management, support ECR/EOL processes, and guide next‑generation Hansen offerings

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with quick disconnect couplings and/or hydraulic applications
  • Ability to independently manage design tasks, commissioning activities, and product selection
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and deliver clear, value‑focused presentations
  • Solid troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis capabilities, with a pragmatic mindset and a strong grasp of the broader system context
  • Proficiency in reading and creating technical drawings; CAD experience required (PRO‑E preferred)
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) and willingness to travel internationally (5–10%)

What You'll Get from Us

  • We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
  • You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
  • We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
  • You’ll receive benefits like 13th salary, annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
