The Impact You'll Make

Join Danfoss in Silkeborg and take ownership of a highly automated hot stamping production area at the heart of our valve manufacturing. Your work will directly influence the quality and reliability of products used by customers worldwide, including our iconic radiator thermostats and valves.
You will be the go-to engineer ensuring that our production equipment runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. By combining hands-on problem-solving with structured process improvements, you help secure stable operations and enable continuous growth.
Working closely with a skilled and collaborative team, you will drive improvements that reduce downtime, enhance quality, and strengthen our ability to deliver at scale. This is your opportunity to shape a factory that is constantly evolving.

What You’ll Be Doing

•    Own and optimize hot stamping processes and equipment to ensure high reliability, safety, and product quality
•    Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the shop floor to minimize downtime and maintain stable production
•    Strengthen quality processes using tools such as APQP, PFMEA, and control plans to ensure robust validation and documentation
•    Implement new products and tooling to enable seamless integration into existing production setups
•    Drive continuous improvements with your team to increase efficiency, capacity, and cost-effectiveness

What We're Looking For

•    A technical background (e.g., production, mechanical, marine engineering, or toolmaking) with a focus on process optimization
•    Ability to combine engineering design with hands-on execution and structured validation/documentation
•    Experience with automated production technologies such as hot stamping/forging, CNC, robotics, PLCs, or similar
•    Strong collaboration and communication skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
•    Fluency in Danish and English (written and spoken)
