Your work will directly contribute to engineering improvements that make HVAC systems more sustainable, reliable, and efficient.


As part of our Project Engineering Intern, you’ll gain real industry experience while supporting cross‑functional teams driving product design enhancements. You’ll see how engineering, operations, and business functions come together to bring meaningful innovations to market.


This internship is designed to help you build confidence, practical project management skills, and a clear understanding of how engineering projects progress from concept to implementation.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Supporting project managers as you help plan, track, and deliver engineering initiatives that improve product performance.

  • Assisting with schedules, budgets, and documentation so project teams have what they need to move work forward.

  • Following up with team members to help keep tasks on track and ensure deadlines are met.

  • Creating and analyzing project status updates and engineering test reports to support informed decision‑making.

  • Contributing to business process improvements and cross‑functional project activities that strengthen how we work.

What We're Looking For

 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Engineering or another STEM field.

  • Ability to work on‑site in Tallahassee, FL (40 hours in summer; 20 hours during spring/fall).

  • Interest in learning project management fundamentals and working in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills to help keep projects moving.

  • Willingness to learn tools such as MS Project, Power BI, Planner, SAP ERP, SharePoint, and workflow automation platforms.
