Job Description

The Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for secure designs in Cloud Solutions developed in Danfoss Power Solutions. 

The role brings in the expertise to the organization and team for developing and implementing the state of the art secure solutions. 

The engineer defines designs to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities in systems. 

Join us at our site in Pune, India as a Cloud Security Engineer (m/f/d) to contribute to state-of-the-art secure solutions in our product designs. 

Working Scope: 

Designs, programs, documents, tests, and fixes bugs involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release lifecycle resulting in a digital product. Deep technical expertise within a field. Has comprehensive knowledge of underlying principles, approaches and methodology. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage Azure Policies for governance and compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance to the IoT team for regulatory compliance.
  • Gather user requirements and drive implementation per project goals.
  • Monitor and audit Azure Policy compliance, investigate violations, and provide remediation.
  • Support development teams and manage software development in Azure DevSecOps.
  • Coordinate security tests for IoT products, identify threats, and ensure secure implementation.
  • Screen, assess, prioritize, and fix vulnerabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and respond to security breaches.
  • Create security documentation to support process improvements and standards.

Background & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience.
  • 4 years in Cyber Security Engineering.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure (Azure Policy, Resource Manager, Governance).
  • Proficient in software development (Python, Java).
  • Skilled in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Azure CLI, JSON).
  • Strong cloud security skills and automation for Azure Governance.
  • Thorough understanding of CI/CD and DevSecOps.
  • Creative, analytical, structured, and proactive.
  • Knowledge of regulations (ISO27001, NIST, RED, NIS2, IEC/ISA 62443).
  • Helpful to have knowledge of CMMi or ASPICE.
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP/CCSK), GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD), or CISSP.
