Job Description
Danfoss is looking for a dual purpose candidate, who can combine a Strategic Specialise Role with a broader Team Lead Role. We are looking for an enthusiastic SNC Process owner to join our Global Procurement Team. He/She would focus on the strategic aspects of owning, developing and rolling out SNC in DPS. The role also includes a broader manager role of a team focuses not solely on SNC, however also wider Analyst tasks.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Strategic Responsible for
- Ensure process governance (role & responsibilities)
- Drive an SNC community with Super User in DPS
- Align with DPS Divisions on the pipeline, target setting and expectations for the next year
- Setting expectations regarding master data, aging ASN, Idocs etc.
- Handling new functionality including requirements, evaluation, approval and deployment
- Deployment of new functionality, training of Superusers/Users, training material, preparation of test scripts, management of testing,
- Escalation and management of issues and errors from Super Users to IT, support root cause problem solving.
Team lead/Manager tasks :
- Be responsible for a local team of employees
- Work closely with an Overseas Manager
- Be able to efficiently delegate tasks, appropriate for the team members skills and expertise
- Set realistic, yet challenging goals, monitor performance and provide constructive feedback
- Provide development opportunities for individual team members
- Ensure a positive work environment
- Integrate and harmonize the Indian team with the wider Global team
The chosen candidate will have experience of working in a global organisation, will be a self starter, who can work independently, with their team. They will understand a global corporate environment and be able to interrupt directions provide by a global leader to a local level. They will have clear, concise communication skills in both spoken and written English. You will be able to motivate a diverse team, by showing adaptability, empathy to individual needs and clear leadership. It would be advantageous, but not a necessity to have experience with SNC/SCC and SAP. In addition we expect you to be strategically minded, with knowledge and expertise of process and an eye for detail.
