What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and manage a reliable supplier ecosystem for prototype components, test equipment, engineering services, and laboratory infrastructure to support product development activities.
- Lead procurement and sourcing activities for both CAPEX and OPEX requirements, ensuring the timely availability of materials, equipment, and services needed for testing and validation projects.
- Coordinate maintenance, calibration, AMC contracts, and vendor support activities to maximize laboratory uptime and ensure uninterrupted testing operations.
- Partner with engineering teams to source prototype parts, custom fixtures, tooling, automation solutions, and test systems that support Innovation & Development projects.
- Monitor supplier performance, project budgets, lead times, and delivery commitments while driving continuous improvement in procurement effectiveness and laboratory operations.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8-10 years of experience supporting engineering prototyping, strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier development, or V&V laboratory operations.
- Proven experience sourcing prototype components, test equipment, laboratory infrastructure, maintenance services, and engineering-related requirements.
- Strong background in supplier identification, supplier development, commercial negotiations, and vendor performance management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and procurement processes, including purchase order management and CAPEX/OPEX purchasing activities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across global teams and suppliers.
