The Impact You'll Make

As our new Material Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time to support production and meet customer demand.

You will manage material availability and inventory levels, proactively identify supply risks, and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain a reliable flow of components. Through effective planning, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, you will contribute to production continuity, inventory optimization, and overall supply chain performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensure material availability in line with production plans and customer demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Monitor supply and demand requirements, proactively identifying and mitigating risks related to shortages, excess inventory, and delivery delays.
• Manage material planning activities, including supplier follow-up, delivery management, replenishment, and exception handling.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and suppliers to resolve material constraints and maintain production continuity.
• Analyze supply, demand, inventory, and supplier performance data to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement in planning and supply chain performance.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in Material Planning, Supply Chain, Production Planning, or Inventory Management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with ERP systems, such as SAP, combined with good Microsoft Excel skills for planning, reporting, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret supply, demand, and inventory data and translate insights into actions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with external suppliers.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, combined with a proactive and collaborative approach to working in a dynamic environment.

 Compensation & benefits

• Permanent Contract
• CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria a (cod. CNEL C001) 
• Annual Gross Salary Range: €35.000 - €40.000 
• Bonus system: variable component expressed as a percentage of annual gross salary, linked to company performance.
• Salary review: conducted annually, based on individual merit and overall company performance.
