As our Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting production operations by ensuring manufacturing processes, assembly equipment, tooling, and engineering changes are executed efficiently and reliably. Your impact? You will help improve manufacturing performance, reduce process variation, strengthen product quality, and support continuous improvement efforts that contribute to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
You’ll collaborate with Production, Quality, Product Engineering, Process Engineering, and Operations teams, taking ownership of manufacturing support, process improvements, engineering changes, and standardized work, helping us move toward a more efficient and innovative future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support production cells by ensuring assembly equipment, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes are available and operating effectively.
- Lead implementation and follow-up of engineering changes, temporary deviations, corrective actions, and manufacturing best practices.
- Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to resolve customer complaints using structured problem-solving methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, PFMEAs, and manufacturing documentation while supporting operator training activities.
- Drive Kaizen events, cost-out initiatives, KPI improvements, and operational excellence projects aligned with business goals and manufacturing performance targets.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Proven experience in manufacturing engineering within industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC), and corrective-action processes.
- Familiarity with automation, robotics, PLC programming, process analysis, and tolerance interpretation is preferred.
- Fluent in English and Spanish with strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and accountability skills.
