We are seeking for an Intern to join us at our Open Circuits Pumps Team out of our Reynosa site. This position will play a vital connection between Engineering, Production and Quality.

As part of the Team, you will be a supporter on a localization project and will be available to learn about the production process, support of developing new cells, provide feedback about needs and develop training programs.

Job Responsibilities

• Support activities in Production, Quality and Eng for OCP Projects
• Follow up on meeting projects activities
• Support Standard work developing
• Documents and process flow charts support activities
• Data Utilization to create improvement and implementation plans
• Process and system analysis to improve the efficiency of resources
• Assist driving root cause analysis
• Projects Support in Quality processes
• Engineering processes documentation
• Support in PFMEA and control plans development
• Activities tracking through creation and follow up of reports, dashboard, and metrics

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

• Current Studying a Bachelor´s in Engineering (Industrial Engineering, Mfg. Engineering, Mechatronics, etc)
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Good communication and networking skills
• Intermediate/Advanced English
• Computer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand)
• Outstanding safety record and approach to behavioral based safety using proper PPE are requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Lean Tools
• Knowledge of Core Tools
• Knowledge of Statistics
