Danfoss is seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative in our Rotterdam Office. 

 

You establish and maintain good relationships with customers on behalf of the company by taking complete responsibility for each customer account assigned to you. You will ensure that all customers’ requirements and needs are completely met while upholding the company vision and mission. Extreme tact, sensitivity and professionalism are necessary as you will have daily contact with customers and will be a direct influence on their satisfaction and also the success of Danfoss. 

Job Responsibilities

Your day to day activities and responsibilities consist of handling the order intake and the administrative tasks belonging to an order intake process. You are part of a pro-active back office team who supports our internal and external sales colleagues and our customers in the Netherlands and Belgium. Therefor it is important to speak and write the French language. Examples of activities are inbound calls from customers with various questions and inquiries about Danfoss’s products and services. Partnering with customers in conversation over phone or email to determine what products they need and when. Collaborating with sales, transportation, fulfillment, and warehouse teams to ensure that we are delivering on our customer’s expectations. Conducting analysis of a customer’s forecast, trends in orders, and contract details to ensure we are staying ahead of their needs. Supporting fellow Customer Service team members, as needed, to ensure the team can achieve the goals.

Background & Skills

To be successful, we expect you to have a background or education related to customer service or administration combined with minimal of 2 years of work experience in a similar environment. Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Solid planning skills and being able to perform under pressure;
  • Perform your tasks with a high level of accuracy and still manage to achieve deadlines;
  • Have a service-oriented mind set and attention for details;
  • Able to collaborate and communicate with your colleagues and the customers;
  • Have experience working with digital tools and applications for reporting, administration and CRM systems like SAP and Salesforce;
  • Have excellent skills for the Dutch and English and French language. This is non-negotiable.
