Are you ready to play an active role in shaping the future of energy efficiency in Switzerland by joining Danfoss Drives as Sales Engineer (m/f/d) – Drive Technology? You will support customers in mechanical and plant engineering with modern, sustainable drive solutions, win new customers, strengthen existing partnerships, and drive growth in your sales region – with technical know-how, consulting expertise, and a genuine passion for sales. You can organize your daily work flexibly from your home office in Switzerland or from our office location in Frenkendorf.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Customer consulting on drive technology and frequency converters
- Customer acquisition, further development of existing customers, and identification and development of market potential
- Representing Danfoss Drives at customer appointments, trade fairs, and in digital formats
- Using modern sales channels such as webinars and social media to actively shape the digital transformation in sales
- Working closely with the internal sales team and other internal teams to handle customer concerns and exchange market and product knowledge
What We're Looking For
- Technical training or engineering degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar
- Sales experience and strong customer focus with communication and consulting skills
- Broad technical understanding; knowledge of drive technology or frequency converters is an advantage
- Solution-oriented and proactive approach to work
- Interest in digital sales methods
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland (60-80%)
- Very good German and French skills as well as good written and spoken English skills
