Danfoss Climate Solutions is looking for a Sales Engineer for the Suisse Romande. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients in selecting the most suitable solutions, creating projects and opportunities through tenders, and working alongside partners throughout all stages, from defining the offer to final installation. You will develop tailored solutions in the B2B market, actively supporting installers, system integrators, and wholesalers.
The goal will be to promote innovative solutions and successfully manage client relationships, contributing to business growth in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the full sales cycle for HVAC and energy system solutions, from tender participation to finalizing the deal with the client.
- Collaborate with installers, system integrators, and wholesalers to develop tailored solutions that meet the client's specific needs.
- Foster growth and maintain relationships with existing Key Accounts, while also identifying new business opportunities in your territory.
- Support clients in selecting the most suitable solutions, offering the full range of Danfoss products.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring timelines, costs, and quality are met, while also addressing client requirements.
- Utilize digital channels and social selling to expand your professional network and promote Danfoss solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams (sales, R&D, logistics, and technical support) to ensure solutions are technically sound and align with customer needs.
- Contribute to the commercial strategy for your region by analyzing market data and identifying new trends and opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Background in heating, electrotechnics, or building engineering – an additional qualification is a plus.
- Solid experience in sales, preferably in HVAC, measurement and control, or plant construction.
- Knowledge of building automation and non-residential applications.
- Strong customer orientation and passion for consulting and sales.
- Ability to work independently and goal oriented.
- Willingness to learn, commitment, and motivation in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of MS Office, CRM (Salesforce), and the sales market.
- Excellent command of French and German and good knowledge of English; willingness to travel.
