As our Sales Manager -Data Center Sales, APA will manage, direct and lead a sales team to strengthen relationships, increase the share of wallet, secure new opportunities to achieve sales growth targets and provide exceptional service as part of our Data Center Sales team

You will lead a growing sales team responsible for India, Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia. In addition, you will coordinate local activity in alignment with global strategy, ensuring regional team is aligned and supported for success. Work closely and help inform decisions based on customer needs with our engineering, operations and leadership teams in a positive, professional manner is required to be successful. Provide input to our strategy that ensures needs of region are understood. You should be able to articulate and communication you plan with the objective of creating engagement to help lead our growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Responsible to leading the regional sales team to navigate complex market dynamics and customer coordination in a manner that supports our market position, strategic relationships and wallet share. The role will have to be aligned to, and have input to, the overall global strategy.
- Engaging directly with strategic customers in support of their team achieving goals, addressign elevation topics and providing strategic voice of customer to global leadership.
- Trains, motivates and monitors a sales team consisting of Account Managers to maximize their sales efforts as professional representatives.
- Conducts regular performance evaluations and holds frequent 1:1 with team and supervisor. Develops team potential, addressing gaps and misalignments and providing support for career planning.
- Ability to effectively summarize and make recommendations to address challenges, risks and support needed to win
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years of sales leadership experience preferably in the data center market in some capacity
- Experience working in a global matrixed or otherwise complex environment
- Strong staff development and coaching skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in local language(s) and English.
- Takes action in alignment with the global strategy as executes regionally. Able to clearly communicate and present our strategy and values to team
- Demonstrates persistence, drive and takes initiative - strives to meet goals, carry out tasks and achieve results.
- Maintains a positive approach in the face of setbacks and follows through to completion. Remains calm in demanding and changing situations.
