We are looking for a highly experienced sales manager to develop customer relationships and promote business growth in Japan.
Report to
West Japan Sales Group Leader in Japan
Key Responsibilities
Penetrate all DPS products and systems for existing and new customers in Japan.
Build and manage a team of account managers and customer care staff in the West Japan sales group.
Develop future business pipelines with customers in Japan.
Manage customer relationships and sales opportunities via One CRM.
Create and implement plans for sales, order intake, incremental sales, pricing, visiting, etc.
Gather market information, including customer needs and wants, customer and competitor movement, platform information, and SOW.
Operate rolling sales forecasts and improve their accuracy.
Participate in the planning of mid-term sales, profit, and DPS growth plans.
Create and control expense budgets.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in the B2B sector, preferably in the mobile and industrial markets in Japan.
- Three to five years of experience in people management in a sales team.
- 5-10 years of work experience in the mobile/industry business sector.
- Solid business experience in strategy, finance, and planning
- Effective communication and networking skills, both internally (across all relevant functions) and externally (with customers).
- Strong business acumen with solid negotiation and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and service-oriented individual with a customer-centric mindset
- Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken).
Preferred: general knowledge of hydraulic products and systems.
