Job Description

Danfoss Mexico is looking for a Credit Management Team Leader for our Plant in Queretaro. Credit Management Team Leader – who is a strong motivator able to lead a team and create an empowering and inspiring culture to achieve targets and high-performance standards. You will report to the Credit Manager, and you will be responsible for managing credit risk and collection of Accounts Receivable in Danfoss Group for North American customers. Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Management of the day-to-day credit & collection process.
  • Making decisions about release of blocked orders.
  • Communication with internal and external customers to ensure prompt and on-time payment of receivables and resolution of disputed open items.
  • Monitoring of performance and proactively managing day to day workload in the team to ensure KPI´s are met.
  • Assess credit risk and customer´s creditworthiness in order to make decisions about order releases, as well as credit limits in accordance with delegation of power; Escalate and support query resolution in close cooperation with Cash Application and Customer Service.
  • Accurate credit data and collection files.
  • People management responsibilities:
  • Team support and leadership in daily operation of the team.
  • Participating in hiring process, securing on-boarding of new employees, hosting monthly one on one’s and secure development of the individual team members.
  • Provide training and coaching on soft and technical skills within the team.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Education in field of economics and/or management (or similar) or relevant work experience.
  • Previous experience in supervision or leadership position at least 2 years.
  • Min. C1 level of English, Portuguese language will be an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills in writing and in verbal communication with multiple stakeholders both internally & externally at various levels in an organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks within demanding timelines.
  • Demonstrate leadership by leading by example with a hands-on approach and detailed process understanding.
  • Self-motivated individual with a "can do" attitude having attention to details.
  • Proactive and foresighted thinking.
  • Positive and open-minded attitude engaging and securing commitment from involved parties.
