Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our agile continuous development team. In this role, you will propose and implement solutions to address problems and epics from our continuous improvement backlog. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of ServiceNow modules, including HR Service Delivery, Employee Center Portal, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, Workplace Service Delivery, AppEngine, and Performance Analytics. We are particularly interested in candidates who have specialized expertise in specific modules and can provide examples of their achievements in those areas.

 

As a valued member of our global development team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with colleagues across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Effective communication skills are vital for success in this role, as you will be interacting with product owners, architects, and stakeholders from different parts of the world. Fluency in English at a native level is a must. Your role will be crucial in gathering requirements, translating complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for non-technical team members, and facilitating successful collaboration with stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating relevant documentation and developing automated test cases.

 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • software development, particularly with web technologies HTML, CSS, and RESTful web services for developing user interfaces and integrating ServiceNow with other systems
  • creating relevant documentation and developing automated test cases.

  • customizing server-side and client-side scripts, business rules, UI scripts, and working with custom tables.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a ServiceNow developer role
  • Relevant ServiceNow certification, minimum Certified ServiceNow Administrator and Certified HR Service Deliverry Implementer
  • Prior experience in software development, particularly with web technologies HTML, CSS, and RESTful web services for developing user interfaces and integrating ServiceNow with other systems
  • Proficiency in JavaScript that is customizing server-side and client-side scripts, business rules, UI scripts, and working with custom tables.
  • Experience in ServiceNow development tools like Flow Designer, AppEngine Studio, and UI Builder
  • Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including its architecture, data model, and development best practices
  • Knowledge of ITIL and agile practices like Srcum or SAFe; certification preferred
